The trial is in conjunction with the San Antonio Highland Games. This is the only Celtic Highland Game in Texas that hosts an actual sheepdog trial and not just a demo. People from all over San Antonio and the surrounding areas will come to watch. The sheepdog trail is one of the most popular events at the games. Approximately 1000 spectators come through the stands each day.
