What we are all about:

bullet

The Texas Hill Country Stock Dog Association (THCSDA) was established to create an interest and understanding in the breeding, working, training & trialing of stock dogs in our immediate area.

bullet

Our organization offers training clinics by professional trainers several times a year.

bullet
We create a network of relationships among our membership and others.
who are involved.
bullet
We hold "playdays or practice days" one to two times a month at a member's farm. Playday/Practice days are a time for members to bring their dogs for the benefit of having the opportunity to work stock, and get tips and pointers from some of the more experienced handlers. Please review requirements for new or prospective members before attending a playday.
bullet
Finally, THCSDA sponsors stock dog trials, fun events and clinics each year. Since our inception, we have held playdays twice a month, sponsored several annual clinic, provide stock dog herding demonstrations, and working on more for the future. Be sure to check on the monthly Playday/Practice day calendars.

Membership Information:

The membership year starts Sept. 1st.  Dues are $24 per year.  To join click the Memebership button, click here, or contact Mary Calder for an application form.
