Practice
Days
We
hold practice days or "playdays" at a member's
farm. Practice days
are a time for members to bring their dogs for the the opportunity to work stock,
and get
tips and pointers from some of the more experienced handlers. Please review
requirements for new or prospective members before attending a playday.

What
we are all about:
|
|
The
Texas Hill Country Stock Dog Association (THCSDA) was
established to create an interest and understanding
in the breeding, working, training & trialing of
stock dogs in our immediate area.
|
|
|
Our
organization offers training clinics by professional
trainers several times a year.
|
|
|
We
create a network of relationships among our membership
and others.
who are involved. |
|
|
We
hold "playdays or practice
days" one to two times a month at a member's
farm. Playday/Practice days are a time for members to
bring their dogs for the benefit of having the opportunity
to work stock, and get tips and pointers from some of
the more experienced handlers. Please review requirements for
new or prospective members before attending a playday.
|
|
|
Finally,
THCSDA sponsors stock dog trials, fun events and clinics
each year. Since our inception, we have held playdays
twice a month, sponsored several annual clinic, provide
stock dog herding demonstrations, and working on more
for the future. Be sure to check on the monthly Playday/Practice
day calendars. |
