If you wish to attend and practice with your dog at a THCSDA playday/practice day or Fun Trial and you are a new member and/or new to herding, you are required to go through Instinct Evaluation/Introduction to Livestock with Kerri Sullivan. She may waive the requirement if your dog is already qualified due to training or your past experience. You will need to contact Kerri to attend instinct testing or obtain an exemption. These requirements are for the safety of the dog, the handler, and the livestock.

Evaluations are conducted the second Saturday of each month and there is a charge of $25.00. Kerri is located in Bastrop, Texas near Austin.
