Playday & Puppies Pictures

These photographs are presented thumbnail size for quick page loading; please click on the pictures for a larger size.

Playday photos were expertly taken at the July 27, 2002, and graciously sent in by the photographer, club member Laura Patton.  Puppy photos are part of a series of photos of the litter produced by Jean and Roy, member Jim Ellis' dogs. The last puppy, Craig,  has now been placed with a very happy family, so this is the last month that you'll be able to check out the puppies.

(Earlier playday photos are available by emailing the webmaster, Ann Dobbs. Please feel free to submit photos of dogs belonging to club members to her for inclusion in the website.)

Members awaiting their turn in the round pen or field:

Trying out the new pen-within-a-pen method; ...okay, mom, I've got those for you. How about some more?

Is it just me or are our playdays so fun that they're becoming a spectator sport?

Okay, Boss, that speed-demon Gi Li dog has run me ragged trying to help...it's y'all's turn now!

Jim's dog Roy: ...and this is how you are supposed to do it; steady & controlled...

Who's next? Don't ACDs get to go before BCs?

Ann: Uh, Allen, Jim? How do you  slow down a speed-demon Gi Li dog?
People watching herding, dogs watching people for who gets to herd next. (BC - Please, me next! I'm bigger than them!)   It's so-o-o nice to have helpful friends and mentors who even help put your sheepies away at night....
