Judge:

Nigel Watkins is from Panthowell Farm in Llanddeusant, South Wales where he farms more than one thousand Brecknock Hill Cheviot ewes. He has been trialing since 1982 and is a consistent member of the Welsh Team.

2nd Welsh National 2008
13th World Sheep Dog Trials 2008
2nd World Trials – Semi-final 2008 with a dog named Floss, bred by Nigel.

Nigel was in the US for the USBCHA Nationals in 2009 as a spectator and was well liked by many that spoke with him. We are glad to have him here at our Dry Creek SDT and in Ft. Stockton the following weekend.

Nigel may also hold private lessons at the Noah Ranch on the Monday or Tuesday after the Dry Creek Trail, depending on number of trial entries and interest in lessons. If you are interested in having a lesson with Nigel, please contact Catherine Laria at cdlaria@gvtc.com

From Bergheim:
Take FM 3351 North from Hwy 46 to FM 473 take a left (drive pass the Kendalia General Store) drive about 4 miles West to Jones Cemetery Road on the left.

From 281:
Take FM 473 West 15 miles (You will pass the Kendalia General Store), to Jones Cemetery Road on left.
